This Competition is being conducted by GolfNow LLC (“GolfNow/we/us/our”) and sponsored by our friends at Mastercard.

By making a Qualifying Purchase and entering this Competition you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:

ENTRY

For a chance to win the opportunity of a lifetime all you have to do is purchase and subsequently play any round of golf via the GolfNow.co.uk website or UK/I mobile app using a Mastercard and you will be automatically entered (“Qualifying Purchase”).  

You must make a Qualifying Purchase between 00:01am (GMT) on 23 April 2021 and 11:59pm (GMT) 6 June 2021 (“Qualifying Entry Period”). Any entries submitted outside of the Qualifying Entry Period (for any reason whatsoever) or that are not submitted in accordance with our instructions will not be included.

Each Qualifying Purchase made within the Qualifying Entry Period will grant you one (1) entry in the Competition. The more Qualifying Purchases you make the more entries you will have.

ELIGIBILITY 

In order to be entered you must be:

  • 18 years old or over,

  • a cardholder of a debit, credit or prepaid Mastercard card; and

  • a legal resident of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) and Ireland (the “Territory”).

You must not work for GolfNow or any of our other group companies or any company connected to this Competition.

Please be aware that we may ask you for proof to ensure that you satisfy these eligibility requirements. If you are unable to provide proof when we ask, then we reserve the right to disqualify your entry.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE?           

By entering this Competition you will be entered into a draw and have the opportunity to win:

FIRST PRIZE

You and three (3) guests of your choice will receive Sunday Pavilion Tickets to The 149th Open Championships at Royal St George’s Golf Club.

            One night stay at a hotel to be determined (Sunday to Monday).

            A 4-ball to play Royal St George’s Golf Club on the Monday.

SECOND PRIZE

         You and one (1) guest of your choice will receive Thursday Pavilion Tickets to The 149th Open Championships at Royal St George’s Golf Club.

            Inside The Ropes experience.           

            One night stay at a hotel to be determined (Wednesday to Thursday).

RUNNER-UP PRIZE

         One (1) of ten (10) pairs (2 per Winner) of Ground Passes for one day of The 149th Open Championships at Royal St George’s Golf Club.

RESTRICTIONS & GUARANTEES

Please note that the Prize does not include and/or cover any costs, taxes, fees, expenses and/or arrangements not specified in these terms and conditions. You are responsible for any other costs you incur including travel arrangements, additional accommodation, food/beverages, golf club hire/baggage, insurances and anything else of a personal nature.

We make no guarantees to the exact nature of the Prizes available and you accept that if you are a Winner of the First Prize: we cannot guarantee that the round of golf will be possible to play on the Monday, especially if a delay to the conclusion of the 149th Open Championships means it follows to the next day.

Second Prize: we cannot guarantee which golfers you will have the opportunity to watch when undertaking the Inside The Ropes experience.

Runner-Up Prize(s): we cannot guarantee which days the Winners will be allocated the grounds passes for. This will be either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday of the 149th Open Championships.

The Prizes are all subject to third party terms including the 149th Open Ticket Terms and Conditions. 

Also, you cannot transfer any of the Prizes or receive cash as an alternative. And if any of the Prizes become unavailable for any reason; we may substitute it with another prize of our choice.

WINNERS SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

We will randomly select one (1) First Prize Winner; one (1) Second Prize Winner; and ten (10) Runner-up Prize Winners from all valid entries. Winners will be selected by 12:00pm 7th June 2021 by computer randomisation.

We will notify the Winners via email after they have been selected by no later than 5:00pm 7th 2021.

Each individual Winner has to respond to our notification by 5:00pm 11 June 2021 to claim their Prize.  If the individual Winner fails to respond by this time, we reserve the right to deem the selection as forfeited and may in our sole discretion, select another Winner. Proof of sending a response to us does not constitute proof of our receipt of the response.

The Winners will be notified and provided all necessary information they need in relation to their applicable Prize.  The Winner(s) should make it known if there are any reasonable adjustments that need to be made or considered as earlier as possible.

DATA PROTECTION

All personal information about Competition entrants collected in connection with entering the Competition will only be used in accordance with our privacy policy and for the following purposes: (i) should an entrant provide their specific, opt-in consent, for promotional and/or direct marketing communications related to the products and services of GolfNow and/or Mastercard (ii) to administer the Competition as set out in these Terms and Conditions, (iii) to select the Winners, (iv) to arrange delivery and/or administration of the Prize(s).  

The Winners contact details will be disclosed to Mastercard or their appointed representations Octagon for the purpose of delivering and/or administering the Prizes.

PUBLICITY

If you are selected as a Winner of this Competition, you agree to us and our group companies having the right to use your last name and county of residence, in any and all media. And you grant all consents and waive all necessary rights to enable us and our group companies to make the fullest use of this information in any and all media, worldwide, for a period of 90 (ninety) days, without any payment to you.

No liability:

Whilst we’ve tried to give you accurate information as far as we are able so that you can plan your entry accordingly, all dates and times referred to in these terms and conditions are subject to change and we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if any of the dates change for any reason, even at short notice.  We cannot guarantee any of the Prizes will be delivered as stated above, and we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer including any disappointed as to the quality of or the experience received relating to the Prizes.

You release us, our group companies, partners and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft and/or loss suffered in connection with the Competition except where directly due to our negligence.

Discretion

We have complete discretion in all decisions made in relation to the Competition. Our decisions in all matters are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into except as set out in these terms and conditions.

Third party rights:

These terms and conditions do not create any right or benefit enforceable by any person not a party to them (within the meaning of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).

Third party exclusions:

The Prizes are sponsored by Mastercard (who have instructed marketing agency Octagon to act on their behalf).

In the event that The 149th Open Championships at Royal St George’s Golf Club are cancelled, neither Mastercard, their appointed agents Octagon, or the R&A organisers of the 149th Open Championships at Royal St George, are liable to any person or the Winners for any costs, loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation. 

Cancellation/Amendments:

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone and/or amend the Competition and/or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice if (i) any unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it reasonably necessary or prudent to do so; (ii) we need to in order for us to comply with any applicable law.

Disqualification:

We are entitled in our sole discretion at any time to disqualify any entrant from the Competition without any liability if (i) that entrant and/or entry fails to comply with these terms and conditions and/or (ii) in our reasonable opinion believe that an entrant has acted fraudulently, dishonestly, inappropriately and/or improperly in connection with the Competition.

Terms:

If any part of these terms and conditions is determined to be illegal, void and/or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such part shall be severed and deleted, to the extent of such illegality, invalidity or unenforceability. The remaining parts of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and shall continue to be binding and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Law:

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and all entrants to the Competition submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
