Book a tee time with your Mastercard for a chance to win a trip to Rugby World Cup 2023 in France! This Competition is being conducted by GolfNow LLC (“GolfNow/we/us/our”) and the Prizes are supplied by our friends at Mastercard as part of their sponsorship of The Rugby World Cup 2023.
By making a Qualifying Purchase and entering this Competition you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:
ENTRY
For a chance to win the opportunity of a lifetime all you have to do is purchase using a Mastercard (debit or credit card) and subsequently play any round of golf via the GolfNow.co.uk website or UK/I mobile app, and you will be automatically be entered into the prize draw (“Qualifying Purchase”).
You must make a Qualifying Purchase between 00:01am (GMT) on 6 February 2023 and before 11:59pm (GMT) on 19 March 2023 (“Qualifying Entry Period”). Any entries submitted outside of the Qualifying Entry Period (for any reason whatsoever) or that are not submitted in accordance with our instructions will not be included.
Each Qualifying Purchase made within the Qualifying Entry Period will grant you one (1) entry in the Competition. The more Qualifying Purchases you make the more entries you will have.
ELIGIBILITY
In order to be entered you must be:
- 18 years old or over,
- a cardholder of a debit, credit or prepaid Mastercard card; and
- a legal resident of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) (the “Territory”). The competition is not open to residents of the Republic of Ireland.
You must not work for GolfNow or any of our other group companies or any company connected to this Competition.
Please be aware that we may ask you for proof to ensure that you satisfy these eligibility requirements. If you are unable to provide proof when we ask, then we reserve the right to disqualify your entry.
WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
By entering this Competition you will be entered into a draw and have the opportunity to win one (1) of two (2) Grand Prizes:
GRAND PRIZES
1. England v Argentina
You and (1) guest of your choice will win a 4 day/3 night trip (flights, accommodation, lunch/dinner, ticket to the match, shared ground transports included) to France and match tickets to the England v Argentina game on 9 September 2023 at the Stade de Velodrome in Marseille.
2. Ireland v South Africa
You and (1) guest of your choice will win a 4 day/3 night trip (flights and accommodation lunch/dinner, ticket to the match, shared ground transports included) to France and match tickets to the Ireland v South Africa game on 23 September 2023 at the Stade de France in Saint Denis.
RESTRICTIONS & GUARANTEES
The flights included in the Grand Prize will be the closest major airport to your home that provides a direct flight (or the next closest where flights are unavailable or sold out) to the applicable city of the match you have won tickets to. The prize also includes private transport from one collection point for both the winner and their guest at/ close to the winner’s home address to the UK airport, and return – to include an overnight stay in a hotel at the UK airport if an early morning flight. Once in France private transport will be provided to you to/from airport to/from Hotel, shared transport will be provided to the stadium, activities, and restaurants. Any other/ additional transport requirements once you are in France will need to be organised and paid by yourself.
The accommodation included in the Grand Prize will be communicated to you in advance, closer to the tournament and will be located in or close to the city where the applicable match will be played. If you require any special assistant or other requirements, you should make this known to Mastercard (or their appointed agency) for them to organise your Grand Prize.
Please note that the Grand Prize does not include and/or cover any costs, taxes, fees, expenses and/or arrangements not specified in these terms and conditions. You are responsible for any other costs you incur including all travel arrangements required, any accommodation required (such as additional accommodation, upgrade, etc.), food/beverages (additional to what is included in the package), insurances and anything else of a personal nature.
We make no guarantees to the exact nature of the Grand Prizes available and specifically you accept that if you are a Winner:
1. We cannot guarantee which match you will be selected for and you will not have a choice;
2. We cannot guarantee the location or timings of flights or check-in/check-out times for the accommodation;
3. We cannot guarantee the location of the seats of the match tickets and have no control where you will be seated in the applicable stadium.
Also, you cannot transfer any of the Prizes allocated to you or receive cash as an alternative. And if any of the Prizes become unavailable for any reason; we may substitute it with another prize of our choice and at our discretion.
WINNERS SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
We will randomly select two (2) Grand Prize Winners from all valid entries. This first Grand Prize Winner will be allocated the England v Argentina tickets and the second Grand Prize Winner will be selected the Ireland v South Africa tickets.
Winners will be selected by 12:00pm 20th March 2023 by computer randomisation.
We will notify the Winners via email after they have been selected by no later than 5:00pm
24th March 2022.
Each individual Winner has to respond to our notification by 5:00pm 31st March 2022 to claim their Prize. If the individual Winner fails to respond by this time, we reserve the right to
deem the selection as forfeited and may in our sole discretion, select another Winner. Proof
of sending a response to us does not constitute proof of our receipt of the response.
The Winners will be notified and provided all necessary information they need in relation to
their applicable Prize. The Winner(s) should make it known if there are any reasonable
adjustments that need to be made or considered as earlier as possible.
DATA PROTECTION
All personal information about Competition entrants collected in connection with entering the
Competition will only be used in accordance with our privacy policy and for the following
purposes: (i) should an entrant provide their specific, opt-in consent, for promotional and/or
direct marketing communications related to the products and services of GolfNow and/or
Mastercard (ii) to administer the Competition as set out in these Terms and Conditions, (iii)
to select the Winners, (iv) to arrange delivery and/or administration of the Prize(s).
The Winners contact details will be disclosed to Mastercard or their appointed
representations Octagon for the purpose of delivering and/or administering the Prizes only.
PUBLICITY
If you are selected as a Winner of this Competition, you agree to us and our group
companies having the right to use your last name and county of residence and social media
handles, in any and all media. And you grant all consents and waive all necessary rights to enable us and our group companies to make the fullest use of this information in any and all media, worldwide, for a period of 90 (ninety) days, without any payment to you.

THIRD PARTY TERMS
- Each winner and his/her guest(s) as applicable agree to comply with the terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of tickets from time to time (as available and set out at https://tickets.rugbyworldcup.com/en/general_terms_and_conditions or such other webpage as determined by Rugby World Cup Limited (“RWCL”) from time to time), the tournament organiser (Federation Francaise de Rugby 2023, “FFR2023”) and all applicable venue owner or operator rules and regulations to access Rugby World Cup venues and any other areas associated with Rugby World Cup (including any terms of accreditation determined by RWCL). Further each winner and his/her guest(s) acknowledge that he/she may be required to enter into a direct acknowledgement and/or agreement with RWCL and/or FFR2023 concerning use of the tickets and compliance with ticket terms and conditions prior to receiving the prize.
- Winners and/or guests shall not, while using Rugby World Cup tickets, display or publicise any political slogans or homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to ambush marketing or an abuse of the Rugby World Cup, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights (including intellectual property rights) or reflects negatively upon any of RWCL or the Rugby World Cup. Each entrant agrees and acknowledges that any breach of this clause 16 will cause significant damage and loss to RWCL.
- The Promoter may pass personal information relating to prize winners to RWCL and/or FFR2023 (and any of their service providers or agents) for the purposes of monitoring the distribution and use of Rugby World Cup tickets and related experiences and, in the event of a suspect breach of any terms and conditions, rules or regulations or RWCL and/or FFR2023 relating to the use of such tickets and/or experiences, investigating and taking action against such winners.
- This Competition is run by the Promoter with the permission of RWCL. Accordingly the Promoter is responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the Competition, not RWCL or any other persons involved in staging of Rugby World Cup 2023 (including FFR2023) and World Rugby (formerly the International Rugby Board), all of whom shall not be responsible for or liable to entrants in any way whatsoever in connection with this Competition.

No liability:
Whilst we’ve tried to give you accurate information as far as we are able so that you can plan
your entry accordingly, all dates and times referred to in these terms and conditions are
subject to change and we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if any of the dates
change for any reason, even at short notice. We cannot guarantee any of the Prizes will be
delivered as stated above, and we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer including any
disappointed as to the quality of or the experience received relating to the Prizes.
You release us, our group companies, partners and employees from any and all liability,
claims, demands and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft and/or loss
suffered in connection with the Competition except where directly due to our negligence.
Discretion
We have complete discretion in all decisions made in relation to the Competition. Our
decisions in all matters are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into
except as set out in these terms and conditions.
Third party rights:
These terms and conditions do not create any right or benefit enforceable by any person not
a party to them (within the meaning of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).
Third party exclusions:
The Prizes are supplied by Mastercard (who have instructed marketing agency Octagon to
act on their behalf).
In the event that Rugby World Cup 2023 is cancelled (or the applicable match that the Winner has won tickets to is cancelled, postponed or delayed), neither Mastercard, their appointed agents Octagon, or the RWCL, FFR2023, or applicable venues of Rugby World Cup 2023, are liable to any person or the Winners for any costs, loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation.
Cancellation/Amendments:
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone and/or amend the Competition and/or these terms
and conditions at any time without prior notice if (i) any unforeseen circumstances or
circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it reasonably necessary or prudent to do
so; (ii) we need to in order for us to comply with any applicable law.
Disqualification:
We are entitled in our sole discretion at any time to disqualify any entrant from the
Competition without any liability if (i) that entrant and/or entry fails to comply with these terms
and conditions and/or (ii) in our reasonable opinion believe that an entrant has acted
fraudulently, dishonestly, inappropriately and/or improperly in connection with the
Competition.
For completeness, making a purchase and subsequently cancelling the purchase, does not count as a Qualifying Purchase.
Terms:
If any part of these terms and conditions is determined to be illegal, void and/or
unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such part shall be severed and
deleted, to the extent of such illegality, invalidity or unenforceability. The remaining parts of
these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and shall continue to be binding and
enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
England and all entrants to the Competition submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the
Courts of England and Wales.
