This Competition is being conducted by GolfNow LLC (“GolfNow/we/us/our”) and the Prizes are supplied by our friends at Mastercard as part of their sponsorship of The 150th Open.
By making a Qualifying Purchase and entering this Competition you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:
ENTRY
For a chance to win the opportunity of a lifetime all you have to do is purchase using a Mastercard and subsequently play any round of golf via the GolfNow.co.uk website or UK/I mobile app and/or a GolfPass Annual membership via GolfPass.co.uk or GolfPass mobile app, and you will be automatically be entered into the prize draw (“Qualifying Purchase”).
You must make a Qualifying Purchase between 00:01am (GMT) on 1 March 2022 and before 11:59pm (GMT) on 31 May 2022 (“Qualifying Entry Period”). Any entries submitted outside of the Qualifying Entry Period (for any reason whatsoever) or that are not submitted in accordance with our instructions will not be included.
Each Qualifying Purchase made within the Qualifying Entry Period will grant you one (1) entry in the Competition. The more Qualifying Purchases you make the more entries you will have.
GOLFPASS EXTRA QUALIFYING PURCHASES
Anybody who purchases using a Mastercard a round of golf via the GolfNow.co.uk website or UK/I mobile app and adds an GolfPass Annual membership (£99) to the purchase or purchases using a Mastercard a GolfPass Annual membership via GolfPass.co.uk or the GolfPass mobile app, throughout the Qualifying entry Period, will receive an additional ten (10) entries into the Competition (so eleven entries in total, not including any subsequent Qualifying Purchases) (“Additional Qualified Entries”).
In order to count as a Qualifying Purchase and to receive the Additional Qualified Entries, you must pay for the GolfPass Annual membership in full using your Mastercard and where applicable after your 7-day free trial. Where you cancel your subscription before the expiry of the 7-day free trial or within your statutory cancellation period, your Additional Qualified Entries will not be counted. Your Annual GolfPass Membership is subject to GolfPass Subscription T&Cs. New members only.
ELIGIBILITY
In order to be entered you must be:
- 18 years old or over,
- a cardholder of a debit, credit or prepaid Mastercard card; and
- a legal resident of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) or Republic of Ireland (the “Territory”).
You must not work for GolfNow or any of our other group companies or any company connected to this Competition.
Please be aware that we may ask you for proof to ensure that you satisfy these eligibility requirements. If you are unable to provide proof when we ask, then we reserve the right to disqualify your entry.
WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
By entering this Competition you will be entered into a draw and have the opportunity to win:
FIRST PRIZE
You and one (1) guest of your choice will receive Hospitality Tickets to The 150th Open Championships at St Andrews on Saturday 16th July and Sunday 17th July.
Two (2) night stay at a hotel to be determined (Check-in Friday 15th July, Check-out Sunday 17th July).
‘Fore At The Open’ Experience (a behind the scenes tour led by an R&A Representative) to take place on either Saturday or Sunday (to be determined).
SECOND PRIZE
You and one (1) guest of your choice will receive Hospitality Tickets to The 150th Open Championships at St Andrews on Friday 15th July.
One night stay at a hotel to be determined (Thursday 14th July).
RUNNER-UP PRIZES
Ten (10) of you will selected as winners of the Runner-Up Prize and will receive a pair of Ground Passes (two tickets per selected winner) for one day of The 150th Open Championships at St Andrews (days to be determined and subject to the restrictions below).
RESTRICTIONS & GUARANTEES
Please note that the Prize does not include and/or cover any costs, taxes, fees, expenses
and/or arrangements not specified in these terms and conditions. You are responsible for
any other costs you incur including all travel arrangements required, any accommodation (including additional accommodation) required, food/beverages (unless this is provided within the terms and conditions of your allocated tickets), insurances and anything else of a personal nature.
We make no guarantees to the exact nature of the Prizes available and specifically you accept that if you are a Winner of specifically:
First Prize Winner: we cannot guarantee the day or time that the Fore At The Open experience will happen.
Runner-Up Prize(s): we cannot guarantee which days the Winners will be allocated the Grounds Passes for. This will be either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The Prizes are all subject to third party terms including the 150th Open Ticket Terms and
Also, you cannot transfer any of the Prizes or receive cash as an alternative. And if any of the Prizes become unavailable for any reason; we may substitute it with another prize of our choice.
WINNERS SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
We will randomly select one (1) First Prize Winner; one (1) Second Prize Winner; and ten (10) Runner-up Prize Winners from all valid entries. Winners will be selected by 12:00pm 2nd June 2022 by computer randomisation.
We will notify the Winners via email after they have been selected by no later than 5:00pm
2nd June 2022.
Each individual Winner has to respond to our notification by 5:00pm 9th June 2022 to claim their Prize. If the individual Winner fails to respond by this time, we reserve the right to deem the selection as forfeited and may in our sole discretion, select another Winner. Proof of sending a response to us does not constitute proof of our receipt of the response.
The Winners will be notified and provided all necessary information they need in relation to their applicable Prize. The Winner(s) should make it known if there are any reasonable adjustments that need to be made or considered as earlier as possible.
DATA PROTECTION
All personal information about Competition entrants collected in connection with entering the Competition will only be used in accordance with our privacy policy and for the following
purposes: (i) should an entrant provide their specific, opt-in consent, for promotional and/or
direct marketing communications related to the products and services of GolfNow and/or
Mastercard (ii) to administer the Competition as set out in these Terms and Conditions, (iii)
to select the Winners, (iv) to arrange delivery and/or administration of the Prize(s).
The Winners contact details will be disclosed to Mastercard or their appointed
representations Octagon for the purpose of delivering and/or administering the Prizes only.
PUBLICITY
If you are selected as a Winner of this Competition, you agree to us and our group
companies having the right to use your last name and county of residence and social media
handles, in any and all media. And you grant all consents and waive all necessary rights to enable us and our group companies to make the fullest use of this information in any and all media, worldwide, for a period of 90 (ninety) days, without any payment to you.

No liability:
Whilst we’ve tried to give you accurate information as far as we are able so that you can plan
your entry accordingly, all dates and times referred to in these terms and conditions are
subject to change and we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if any of the dates
change for any reason, even at short notice. We cannot guarantee any of the Prizes will be
delivered as stated above, and we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer including any
disappointed as to the quality of or the experience received relating to the Prizes.
You release us, our group companies, partners and employees from any and all liability,
claims, demands and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft and/or loss
suffered in connection with the Competition except where directly due to our negligence.
Discretion
We have complete discretion in all decisions made in relation to the Competition. Our
decisions in all matters are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into
except as set out in these terms and conditions.
Third party rights:
These terms and conditions do not create any right or benefit enforceable by any person not
a party to them (within the meaning of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).
Third party exclusions:
The Prizes are supplied by Mastercard (who have instructed marketing agency Octagon to
act on their behalf).
In the event that The 150th Open Championships at St Andrew’s are cancelled, neither Mastercard, their appointed agents Octagon, or the R&A organisers of The 150th Open Championships at St Andrew’s, are liable to any person or the Winners for any costs, loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation.
Cancellation/Amendments:
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone and/or amend the Competition and/or these terms
and conditions at any time without prior notice if (i) any unforeseen circumstances or
circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it reasonably necessary or prudent to do
so; (ii) we need to in order for us to comply with any applicable law.
Disqualification:
We are entitled in our sole discretion at any time to disqualify any entrant from the
Competition without any liability if (i) that entrant and/or entry fails to comply with these terms
and conditions and/or (ii) in our reasonable opinion believe that an entrant has acted
fraudulently, dishonestly, inappropriately and/or improperly in connection with the
Competition.
For completeness, making a purchase and subsequently cancelling the purchase, does not count as a Qualifying Purchase.
Terms:
If any part of these terms and conditions is determined to be illegal, void and/or
unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such part shall be severed and
deleted, to the extent of such illegality, invalidity or unenforceability. The remaining parts of
these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and shall continue to be binding and
enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
GolfNow.co.uk bookings are governed by: GolfNow Bookings T&Cs
GolfPass Annual membership is governed by: GolfPass Subscription T&Cs.
Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of
England and all entrants to the Competition submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the
Courts of England and Wales.
